Data deletion
Last updated: September 25, 2026.
Request through Divertical
- Sign in to Divertical and open integrations or profile settings.
- Select the professional Instagram account.
- Choose “Delete this Instagram account's data” and confirm your request.
- Keep the reference number shown to track processing.
The connection is stopped, publishing and customer interaction routines are paused, and operational data deletion begins processing. Older datasets or situations that require verification are referred to the team and are not marked complete before that review.
Request by email
If you cannot access the dashboard, send your request to contato@divertical.com.br, with the subject “Data deletion – Instagram”. Include the professional account's @username and your relationship to it. Do not send passwords, tokens or authentication codes. We may request additional information to verify your identity and prevent unauthorized deletion of someone else's data.
What the request covers
The request covers connection credentials and operational data held by Divertical, such as the profile, queue, publishing history and metrics, as well as messages and comments stored for customer interaction features where applicable. Minimal records may be retained where necessary for security, fraud prevention, evidence that the request was handled, or compliance with legal obligations.
What this process does not delete
- posts, comments or messages that remain on Instagram;
- original files kept by the customer in Google Drive, Dropbox or another external service;
- data the customer keeps outside Divertical or that must be retained by law.
To withdraw the consent granted to the app, the account holder can also open connected apps and websites in Instagram settings. Revoking access is separate from deleting data already stored in Divertical.
